Kim Findlay is a Midwestern transplant living with her family near Boston, Massachusetts. A writer, speaker, and ministry leader with over twenty years of experience, Kim has devoted her life to searching for God’s goodness and sharing that goodness with others.
Whether through articles, teaching, or over coffee, she weaves together Scripture and stories that inspire hope, encouraging others to set their eyes on Jesus as they develop an enduring faith.
Kim is the author of two books: Breathing in Ashes: a memoir, the story of her youngest daughter’s death in a fire that destroyed their home and the weeks that followed as she grappled with God’s goodness; and Lessons from a Daughter’s Life, an ebook sharing simple lessons she learned through the five years before her youngest daughter died. She’s also written children’s curriculum for Big Idea, Inc, David C. Cook, and several churches. Her writing has also appeared in The Redbud Post, Facets of Faith, Gifted for Leadership, the Vere Institute, and various blogs.
Kim now spends her days supervising remote learning with her three bonus kids, watching cooking shows with her husband, traveling to Connecticut to visit with her eldest daughter, son-in-law, and adorable new grandson, all while endlessly petting the family dog, Scout.
“Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.”
